The Resource Consumption

Logitech Options+ runs as a background process consuming 300-400MB of RAM. This is software whose primary job is to let you customize mouse buttons and scroll speed.

The application runs multiple background services, maintains a persistent network connection, and auto-launches at system startup. The Telemetry Question

Network analysis shows that Options+ regularly communicates with Logitech servers, sending telemetry data including device identifiers, usage patterns, and system information. Logitech's privacy policy permits collection of "information about how you interact with our products and services" — a broad license that covers essentially any data the software can access.
